Robert Michael Boerner, MD, obtained his medical degree in 1995 from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. After graduating, he attended the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri where he completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology. Dr. Boerner then continued his education by achieving a Doctorate of Philosophy in Physical Chemistry at the University of North Carolina Graduate School of Chemistry in Chapel Hill. On his success, Boerner says he obtained it through hard work and good fortune. Today, he practices radiology at the Asheville Radiology Associates in North Carolina.
