Currently, semiretired following a long academic practice at the VA Medical Center Dallas (VAMCD) and University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. I maintain clinical and teaching responsibilities at VAMCD working in general diagnostic radiology with emphasis on GI and GU. In recent years, I have participated in collaborative investigations with ENT/head and neck surgery, speech pathology and radiation oncology of causes, prevalence, and management of dysphagia, pre- and post-therapy, in head and neck cancer patients.
