The Department performs about 21,000 anesthetics per year. We provide anesthesia for surgery, obstetrics, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The Department treats patients of all ages with varying surgical needs and offers general, regional and monitored anesthesia care options. As the region's only state-designated trauma center, the Department of Anesthesiology is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet the emergent needs of our community.
