Doctor Larose was the Director of Nuclear Medicine at the Emory School of Medicine in the 1960s and 1970s and developed "Eye Tumor Identification" with P32, with the Director of Physics at Emory University. He has written 40 medical articles and 8 textbook chapters. He was Speaker of the House of Delegates ACNP and President of Alabama Society of Nuclear Medicine.
He has Been a Physician Expert for the United Nations since 1980's after having served for the IAEA in Pakistan. He received the Ira L. Myers Service Award in 2010, he Commanded the Sons of the Confederate Veterans in the State of Alabama, he is the only physician to command any VFW Post in the state of Alabama and he has chaired the Menewa District of the BSA since 1999.
