Get to know Diagnostic Radiologist Dr. Frank William Morgan, who serves patients in Boise, Idaho.

A top diagnostic radiologist specializing in nuclear medicine, Dr. Morgan works with patients at his private practice in Boise, Idaho. 

With over 30 years of experience in his field, he is affiliated with San Bernardino Medical Imaging, Konan Medical USA, Medical Imaging Management, Redlands Community Hospital, Highland Springs Imaging Center and Comprehensive Medical Imaging, Hallmark Stand-Up MRI Imaging Center, and RadNet.

Regarding his educational background, Dr. Morgan earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1983. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in radiology at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in 1984 and 1988, respectively. 

Attributing his success to being fortunate to train under excellent mentors, one being John V Crues III, he is an active member of the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and Radiological Systems Microfilm Associates.

Diagnostic radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. The tests and equipment used sometimes involves low doses of radiation to create highly detailed images of an area. A diagnostic radiologist is a medical doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating disease and injury, using medical imaging techniques such as x-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography (PET), fusion imaging, and ultrasound.

Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Morgan enjoys alpine skiing, bicycling, and photography.
