Regarding her educational background, Dr. Billah graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Dhaka Medical College in 1974. She then went on to perform an internship at Booth Memorial Medical Center in 1978 and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Interfaith Medical Center in 1982.
Furthering her education, she pursued training in ultrasound with BronxCare Health System from 1982 until 1985.
Sharing her medical /science knowledge with the general public and young generation in medical fields, Dr. Billah has enjoyed her privileges to work at several hospitals as well as teach medical residents and students in New York for the last three decades.
To date, she remains an active member of the American Medical Association and the Bangladesh Medical Association of North America.
