Get to know Pain Management Physician Dr. Gregory J. Lawler, who serves the population of New Jersey. Dr. Lawler completed his undergraduate degree from Boston University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1987. He then completed his Post Baccalaureate Certification in Pre-Medical Sciences from Columbia University before attending Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine with his Doctor of Osteopathy Degree in 1993, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his degree he completed his internship with St. Michael’s Hospital and Medical Center. He then completed his Anesthesia residency with the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Lawler is dual certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists and the American Board of Pain Medicine. He holds additional Competency Certification in Fluoroscopic Interpretation and Radiation Safety and in Controlled and Dangerous Substances both by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians. To stay up to date in his field The American Society of Pain Medicine, North American Spine Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Society of Anesthesiologist.
