After obtaining his Medical Degree Dr. Aftab  completed his internship and residency with NSLIJHS-Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center Program in 2006. Following his internship and residency, he undertook fellowship with Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine Program and the Baylor College of Medicine Program.
