  • Sinus infections/post nasal drip?

You were taking Allegra, an antihistamine that is prescribed for allergic rhinitis. FYI, post-nasal drip is normal in most cases, except when it is not, depending on the nature of the drip, e.g. purulent, thick, bloody, etc. PND occurs because intranasal secretions move backward to the throat and are swallowed. Normal physiology. PND can worsen with dehydration, utterly, smoking, alcohol intake. exposure to airway irritants, infection, etc. You most likely do not have a sinus infection. Go see an ENT doctor, not your primary care physician. Drink at least two quarts of clear fluids per day. Don't smoke. No throat clearing. Get HEPA air filters for your living spaces. READ MORE

  • Foreign object in the ear canal?

May be some mild inflammation in the canal causing residual FB sensation. I will assume that the doctor used a microscope when he/she cleaned the ear out and did not injure the canal skin in the process.
