Dr. Patel takes time with each patient, working to understand their oral health and cosmetic goals clearly. She prioritizes patient education, ensuring that they comprehend and feel comfortable with the treatments she recommends to help them reach those goals. At every turn, she works to blend a warm, personal bedside manner with top-tier dental treatment. She and her team strive to help them get stunning, straight teeth while protecting their oral health. 

Attributing her success to her passion for dentistry and her genuine care for her patients, Dr. Patel is grateful to be able to serve her community through her skills in the field of dentistry. On the subject of her educational background, she attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. After completing her bachelor’s degree at Virginia Tech, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 2012. She then pursued her residency in preventive and restorative dentistry at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. 

Since completing her education, Dr. Patel had the privilege of working as an associate alongside various prestigious dentists in New York City and Virginia, allowing her to hone her technical skills and gain experience in modern dentistry. After realizing her true vision, she founded My Woodbridge Dental and Mosaic Dental with emphasis on patient comfort and quality dentistry.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

When she is not tending to patients’ dental needs, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter or pursuing her other passion, cooking. She also loves traveling,  trying new teas whenever the opportunity presents itself, and spending time with her friends and family.
