Dr. Vyas is a Pediatric and Adult Neuropsychologist with 20 years of experience who specializes in neuropsychological and legal/forensic assessment, as well as cognitive remediation. She currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/St. Luke’s-Mt. Sinai West Hospital Center, and is affliated with Stamford Hospital Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Vyas was awarded the 2015 Best of Stamford Award in the Doctor category and served as President for Neuropsychology in the New York State Psychological Association, where she had held various other elected positions. She specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation and learning consultation of children, adolescents, young adults, adults and geriatrics. Dr. Vyas’ areas of specialization include neurodevelopmental syndromes (such as ADHD and autism spectrum), neurologic syndroms (such as concussions and epilepsy), as well as other neuropsychiatric conditions (such as anxiety and depression). She has developed her expertise through experiences in a number of in- and outpatient hospital settings (such as Psychiatry, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Rehabilitation Medicine), and through her work at the Eagle Hill School, a nationally recognized school serving children with learning challenges. Dr. Vyas values research, presents posters at national conferences, speaks at grand round lectures and engages in other scholarly activities.
