Get to know Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist Dr. Bhaskar N. Raju, who serves the population of Orlando, Florida. Dr. Raju graduated from Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College in India in 1993 with his Medical Degree, giving him over two decades of experience in his field. In 2002 he relocated to the United States when he was selected to attend the Psychiatry residency training program at the University of Minnesota Hennepin- Regions Medical Center. He was one of a select few clinicians selected for a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Raju started his practice, Orlando Psychiatric Associates in 2005 and is their Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director. Dr. Raju’s special interests and clinical expertise include the care and treatment of ADHD, Learning Disorders, Autistic Spectrum disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Stress, marital dysfunctions, Substance Abuse, Anxiety Disorder, as well as Schizophrenia. Dr. Raju believes in the effectiveness of individualized care and designs a treatment/care plan specific to each patient’s unique needs. For his faithful service and for being recognized by his patients as one of America’s most compassionate doctors, Dr. Raju received “The Compassionate Doctor Award” in 2016. In 2014, Dr. Raju was voted as a “Top 10 Doctor/Specialist” by Vitals, Inc. Additionally, “The “Patients’ Choice Awards” recognized Dr. Raju as one of Florida’s favorite physicians in 2011 and also awarded him the same prestigious recognition in 2008 and 2009.
