Dr. Rosemarie Allen is an Acupuncture Physician, owner & operator of A Balanced You Acupuncture & Wellness Center in Jacksonville , FL. Dr. Allen evaluates and treat patients based on the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine which is focused on maintaining balance & harmony within the body. Dr. Allen is trained in the skills of obtaining detailed information through evaluation, by getting a patient history, interviewing the patient , listening keenly and allowing patient time to relate their concerns. Dr. Allen is a great source for not only feeling better physically but mentally as well. She goes into detail about how your body reacts to certain things such as stress and is more than willing to provide you with coping skills in order to overall feel better. She has been an encouragement to me through some physically challenging times of my life and I never leave feeling worse than when I came in. She is incredibly knowledgeable and loves what she does!

I have been a patient of Dr. Allen for over 2 years. She has provided various services during this time period: Acupuncture, Tuina Massage, Cupping Therapy and Electro Acupuncture. I have had improvement in the left side of my back, hip and legs since receiving these treatments. My pain has decreased, better movement in these areas and less swelling. I am more than thankful for these services and would recommend Dr. Allen to anyone that need them.

Rosemarie is an excellent Acupuncturist with an intuitive ability to "learn your body," and treat it appropriately. Her Tuina Massage is a MUST. It is a massage that incorporates Acupuncture Meridians and relieves the pain like no other. Rosemarie is such a kind caring person with healing hands. Thanks for all you have done for me when I would come to you in pain and leave pain free.

When I came to Dr. Allen, I had been living with severe plantar fasciitis for a few years. I had been to an orthopedic and was about to start physical therapy and steroid treatments. As a "last resort" I decided to try acupuncture. I am happy to say that after a few months, I am living virtually pain free. In addition to treating the plantar fasciitis, she helped me with stress management and get to the root of the cause (or so to speak.) I would certainly recommend Dr. Allen and her therapy.

Dr. Allen is fantastic!!! My wife and I were referred by a friend. I was skeptical at first. Never had acupuncture, and was experiencing chronic lower back pain from construction work. I had seen physical therapists, and physicians, and still had the occasional spasm. Spasms cost money and time. After several visits with Dr. Allen, not only had my back pain decreased, but my acid reflux and overall stress levels were starting to lessen in frequency as well. Spasms (knock on wood) have yet to return. She is honest and open. She is knowledgeable and well versed in multiple facets of the healing process. She is comforting. She is an outstanding listener, and she is in a constant state of evaluation. From visit to visit, treatment may vary based on our pre table discussions, and this attention to detail is so hard to find in a big box medical center. Dr. Allen has become a part of our lives, and I consider her a friend. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!
