Are there natural ways to treat migraine?
Yes. First of all, eating properly, exercising, drinking water are all important components of treatment. Eating small, frequent meals may help. In some people, food that is high in tyramine may trigger headaches. Try for 1-2 months in avoiding such food to see if this makes a difference. Such foods include cheese except cottage cheese, processed foods such as hot dogs, bologna, MSG which is found in Chinese and Mexican foods, bananas, yogurt, avocados, and figs. Avoid artificial sweeteners such as aspartame. Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes at least five days a week. This is extremely important to do at least five days a week. Magnesium, riboflavin and butterbur may help if taken daily. Sleep at least six hours a day. Go to bed at the same time without distractions such as a TV. READ MORE

I am unable to sleep well. Is it safe to have sleeping pills?
Sleeping pills may be helpful if you are not using them frequently. However, to properly answer the question, I would need to know if you have any other medical issues. Do you have problems breathing for instance? Do you have any liver or kidney disease? Assuming that you have no other medical issues, then you can try it. However, it would be better to try exercising and more natural means, such as using melatonin. You should exercise at least 30 minutes five times a day if there is no contraindication. Do not exercise within two hours of expected bedtime. In addition, make sure you are not overly stimulated at night, such as watching TV. Keep the same bedtime schedule so that your body can become adjusted to a routine. That is to go to bed and wake up the same time each day. READ MORE
