He grew up in a small farming community south of Lubbock, Tx and finished his undergraduate schooling at the University of North Texas.  After medical school Dr. Wilkes completed his dermatologic training through Michigan State University in the Detroit, MI area.  There he was exposed to a diverse patient population with rare skin conditions.  Dr. Wilkes diagnoses skin problems and develops unique treatments plans for each individual patient.
