At what age do wisdom teeth start coming in?
Yes. 3rd molars (wisdom teeth) often need to be removed by age 17 or even sooner. Evaluation by an oral surgeon is a good idea. Your son's teeth may be in process of erupting in normal position, but, in my experience, most people do not have enough room for their 3rd molars and would benefit from removal. Age 17 is a good age for evaluation, and it's a good age for removal because his recovery will be much easier than it would be in a 5 or 10 years from now. READ MORE

My pain is not better even after a root canal treatment. What should I do?
It may take a few weeks for the pain to resolve. Otherwise, check with the person that performed the procedure. And it the took needs to be removed, it's best to think about whether an implant might be desired in the future because we often graft when extracting a tooth if an implant is being considered. Sometimes implants can even be placed at the time of extraction. But let's hope the tooth can be saved :) READ MORE
I have two cysts in my upper jaw. Please suggest the treatment.
Yes. I recommend evaluation by an oral surgeon. Many times they are associated with teeth that need to be removed. In most cases, removing the tooth and cyst is definitive. But it's best to treat them before they grow too much. And if a biopsy is recommended, a definitive diagnosis can be made to rule out anything too serious. READ MORE
