Chiropractor
, 02906About
Chelsea M. Sickel, DC, found that chiropractic care helped unlock a new level of athletic performance, but also kept her feeling healthy and vital. During her years as a student and during her chiropractic career she spent her time focusing her attention on pediatric and pregnancy care because she appreciates how important it is for the body to have the right framework for growth and development, which starts in the womb. During her years as a pediatric chiropractor, she has seen many instances of developmental delays, physical limitations, behavioral tics, food sensitivities, and systemic inflammatory reactions. Although consistent adjustments are helpful in these pediatric populations, she began to realize patients needed much more additional neurological, dietary, nutritional, and exercise intervention and support to meet the goals of care. This realization inspired her to join Delta S Performance with the goal of creating an integrated approach to pediatric neurodevelopmental care through nutrition and chiropractic functional neurology. She understands that every child is different and requires different levels of attention, she approaches each case with patience and the goal of creating a positive and collaborative approach between doctor, patient, and parent.
