Get to know Dentist Dr. Alfonso Piñeyro, DDS, who serves the Seattle, Washington area at his private practice, Clear Choice Dental Implant Centers. Dr. Piñeyro received his degree in dental training at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He then continued his studies by completing a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center. Dr. Piñeyro completed an additional three years of education and received his specialty certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center in 2006. After his certification, Dr. Piñeyro became an affiliate instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Washington. In addition, he has been a guest lecturer at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center, Loma Linda University, Oregon Health And Science University. His lectures have centered upon topics related to clinical prosthodontics and implant dentistry. A prosthodontist is highly trained in cosmetics, dental implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures. Prosthodontists are the recognized experts when anything needs to be replaced in a patient’s mouth.
