About

I am a Johns Hopkins-trained licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in the cognitive behavioral treatment of depression, anxiety, mood, and stress. I specialize in maternal, child, adolescent, and adult mental health, supporting clients in navigating difficult life stressors and transitions. I also provide evidence-based psychological services for individuals coping with health conditions, including chronic pain and postpartum depression. I earned my master’s and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). I completed predoctoral clinical training in pediatric psychology and behavioral medicine at Children's National Health Systems and in general child and adult psychology at the University of Maryland Psychology Clinic, followed by a predoctoral clinical internship at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where I also worked as a clinician at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I then completed postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health. As a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Virginia (#0810005946), I am grateful to all the clinicians I've had the pleasure of training with, and feel honored to walk alongside and support patients through difficult journeys and events in their lives.
