Munira K. Lokhandwala, DDS, obtained her dentistry degree in 1991 at the Government Dental College in Bombay, India. She received further training in dentistry, including mini-implants training from the University of the Pacific in California; esthetic periodontal surgery training from the University of Southern California; and maxi course for implant dentistry from Loma Linda University in Southern California. Since getting her California State dentistry license in 1996, Lokhandwala has more than 20,000 patient visits. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Association of General Dental, and International College of Oral Implantology. Her supportive husband and wonderful staff, she says, are instrumental to her success. Today, she performs a wide range of routine and specialized dental procedures and services at StarBrite Dental in Fremont, California.
