John J. Janick, MD, obtained his medical degree in 1971 from Cornell University Medical College in New York. After receiving his medical degree, he attended the New York Hospital for his internship and residency; and National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland for his fellowship. His medical career for close to four decades now has seen numerous accomplishments including the publication of several endocrinology articles in peer-reviewed medical journals; recognition from Vitals.com as 'On-Time Physician Award' in 2009, 'Patients Choice Award' from 2008 to 2010; and membership in professional societies such as The Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, and American Diabetes Association. Care for patients, he says, is the key to his success. Today, Dr. Janick practices endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism medicine at Janick Professional Center and Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda, Florida.
