Can type 2 diabetics eat sugar?
They should not eat sugar. If they are sugar the amounts would be needed to calibrate very small amounts. I do not recommend it. There is usually insulin resistance and the blood sugar could go very high. READ MORE

Will my bones grow stronger?
Dear patient; add Vit D 800 units and calcium1200 mg daily assuming they are normal to start. After three months have blood work done including vit D, phosphorous, alkaline phosphatase, and compare to your levels. READ MORE
Mystery illness?
Dear patient; migraine headaches can present with wt loss, headache, eye pain. I would see an opthalmologist for evaluation and then an endocrinologist for thyroid adjustment. Hypothyroidism usually causes wt gain, not loss. READ MORE
Which suppository to use?
I would prefer a GI to answer this question as it is complex. I generally like fiber in the am with fluids and Miralax or Dulcolax at night. READ MORE

Does PCOS affect growth, height, and physical development?
Dear patient, Skeletal observations reveal slightly higher trunk height and smaller leg size compared to norms due to hormone changes. Am I type 2, pre-diabetic, or normal?
Dear patient, An A1c of 7.1 is definitely diabetic, although others pre-diabetic and fbs pre-diabetic. BMI about 35.
