Get to know Internist Dr. Hassan Jadid, who serves patients in Tampa, Florida.

A determined internist, Dr. Jadid is an Assistant Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Department of Internal Medicine, Internal and Hospital Medicine Program. His clinical interests are in clinical oncology and hematology and his research interests include hematology malignancy and solid tumors.

Pertaining to his educational background, he received his medical degree from the Aleppo University Faculty of Medicine in Syria. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed a residency in internal medicine at the Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, followed by an additional residency in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
