Syed T. Ali, MD, received his medical degree in 1984 from the University of Punjab Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan. He then continued his medical training in the United States, attending Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York for his residency in neurology; followed by his fellowship in electroencephalography, epilepsy and sleep studies at Montefiore Hospital in New York; and fellowship in electrodiagnostic and neuromuscular medicine at Harvard Medical School Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Ali credits his mother for his success in life. Today, the doctor practices neurology at CNS Multispecialty Clinic in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
