Dr. Ernestina Avalos-Figueroa obtained her doctor of odontology degree from the University of Guayaquil School of Dentistry in Ecuador. She then continued her medical training in the United States, completing in 1980 her doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Her medical career has seen numerous achievements including being named as Fellow of the American College of Dentists; and membership in professional societies such as the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society. Continuing education and commitment to serve others, she says, are instrumental to her success. Today, the doctor has her own dentistry practice in Aliso Viejo, California.
