He continued his medical training in the United States, attending Cook County Hospital in Chicago for both his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Vargas-Montano is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Fertility Association, Bolivian/American Medical Society, American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy, and the Chicago Gynecological Society. He attributes his success to always doing the best for his patients, taking time to explain all the options to patients, and listening to patient's concerns. Today, the doctor practices obstetrics and gynecology at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.
