Dr. Brittany Jones, is an experienced optometrist with expertise in managing ocular care for patients of all ages at Avon Vision Associates and New Hartford Eye Associates. She is also associated with The Eyeglass Place, conveniently serving the communities of Newington and Ellington, Connecticut.

With a robust background in treating a wide range of ocular conditions, Dr. Jones specializes in managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, ocular surface disease, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. She is also adept at co-managing post-operative care for LASIK/PRK and cataract surgery. Additionally, Dr. Jones is skilled in fitting various types of contact lenses, including spherical, astigmatic, multifocal, and myopia control lenses.

Dr. Jones’ journey in optometry began with her undergraduate studies at SUNY Binghamton, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry Degree from MCPHS University, followed by a residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Newington, Connecticut. 

An active member of the American Optometric Society and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists, Dr. Jones is dedicated to staying at the forefront of advancements in optometry. Her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is reflected in her diverse work experience, spanning hospital-based, private practice, commercial, and academic settings where she served as adjunct faculty at MCPHS University.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Jones finds joy in traveling, rock climbing, and pursuing her passion as a natural bodybuilder in the Pro Figure Division OCB.
