Every Back tooth has 6 surfaces so on your case it looks like 2 of those surfaces have cavities . Which is not uncommon and since you are proactive and getting them taken care of it should be fine . Is Invisalign as good as oral braces?
Both will straighten teeth but Invisalign needs more compliance because the aligners have to be worn 21-22 hours a day and the Positive is that you can keep your oral hygiene better with aligners / Invisalign since you can take them off and brush and floss . With braces your compliance is mainly with elastics stage but then it’s more effort to keep your oral hygiene clean. . So it really depends on the person . How long do new dentures take to settle?
There is a transition period for dentures . Usually a couple of weeks . Expect sore spots and sometimes Slight inflammation . Thank you for your e mail . Sone pressure/ soreness can be felt after an extraction but should be getting better every day . Stay away from eating extremely hot foods or anything with sharp edges like tortilla chips . Try keeping it clean but don’t keep pulling your cheek to see how it’s looking . Tlc the area for about 2 weeks and avoid heavy lifting/ jumping / or running or any strenuous exercise . If anything unusual or any pain or pressure increase please contact your dentist . Is it painful to get a crown put on your tooth?
A crown is usually placed if there is a large existing filling or a large decay that compromises the tooth structure . Usually not a painful procedure . As long as the food is soft you should be good eating it after 1-2 days Just keep the extraction area clean with warm salt water rinses . When can I brush my teeth with toothpaste after an extraction?
The extraction site is tender so be careful for about 2 weeks. To clean the gums very gently you can dip gauze in a mouthwash and just carefully and gently clean around the area, but do not poke or touch the site itself with your fingers or the tongue. How long will new dentures hurt?
Dentures take sone time to get used to. Initially, you will have to see the dentist a couple of times so he can adjust the dentures and recommend or give you some topical medicine for the sore areas.
