Dr. Bayyapureddy is a compassionate, board-certified internist. She started Windermere Medical Group (with offices in Cumming, Canton, and Baldwin, Georgia) to achieve her goal to be a community physician for all primary healthcare needs for families. 

Locally, she has hospital privileges at Northside Hospital Forsyth, Northside Hospital Cherokee, and Emory Johns Creek Hospital. 

Among her academic appointments, she is currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the MD Program at the Medical College of Georgia, and as an Assistant Professor for the Clinical Preceptor Track at Mercer University School of Medicine.

Educated in India, Dr. Bayyapureddy graduated with her medical degree from Andhra Medical College in 2000. She then relocated to the United States, performing her internship at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Chattanooga, and her residency in internal medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine.

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Furthermore, she is board-certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). The ABOM is a 501 nonprofit, self-appointed physician-evaluation organization that certifies physicians practicing obesity medicine. 

During her career, Dr. Bayyapureddy worked for VA Clinic and served as a part-time faculty member at Emory University School of Medicine. She provided occupational and travel medicine consulting services to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC-Atlanta).

Having been appointed as Civil Surgeon by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, she is also an active member of the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery and the  International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine.
