Furthering his education he completed his Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Michigan in 1980 and his Master of Education in Educational Counseling in 2003 from the University of Hartford, giving him over a decade of experience in his field. 

David holds certification in K-12 School Counseling and is a Certified Licensed Professional Counselor.
