I had back surgery. Should I see a chiropractor or avoid it?
Depending on what type of surgery you had in the past will determine your next steps. There are some failed back surgeries that a chiropractor would not want to re-aggravate. Be detailed on your visit and they can examine you to see if you are able to receive adjustments at this time. READ MORE
Should I see a chiro after a car accident?
All depends. Is the car accident case closed? 4 months after the accident, if you did not seek any treatment, you might still benefit from chiropractic care, just don't expect it to be part of the auto case. It is never too late to feel better after receiving adjustments. READ MORE

Call your Chiropractor and allow them to re-exam you. Perhaps a new X-ray is needed. Don't stay in pain. If you are not comfortable going back to your previous Chiro, then make an appointment for a new one. READ MORE
Do chiropractors typically take x-rays?
I agree. I have never adjusted a patient Without the use of X-rays. I have always owned my own machine too. I know several Chiro's that don't take X-rays because they do not want the expense. You only have one spine. Take care of it and I am glad you found someone who cared about your health to rule things in/out. READ MORE

My mother has developed a problem of shaking hands. What could be the reason behind it?
I think by your comment that you mean intention tremors? She needs to be checked out as it can mean different things depending on her health history. Is she a diabetic? Can vitamin deficiency cause muscle stiffness?
Yes it can. Find a Chiropractor in your area who also uses functional medicine to help balance the body. They can order some blood work to confirm if you are deficient in Vitamins and minerals and help you regain your help with good quality vitamins. This means to avoid the Walmart's and Costco's because they are cheaper. They had studies that show they have a lot of fillers in the cheap vitamins and you will end up paying more in the long run READ MORE
I have pain in my back everytime I put on weight. Why does this happen?
Anytime we put on excess weight, it changes our whole body bi-mechanics. Stress of the extra weight can make your feet off center, your knees, your hips, your low back and then your neck. There is a domino effect. If you are ready to address your weight issues, Find a Chiropractor in your area who can address the underlying reason for the additional weight gain and help balance you out so as you get back into health, the weight can come off quicker. Can I visit a chiropractor to get my sinuses drained?

I have slight weakness in my muscles along with pain in the forearms. What could this be?
I would like to first ask you some questions: Exactly which muscles do you feel a loss of strength? Do you sleep on that side? Any accidents or injuries? Do you carry a briefcase or bag on that side? You need to rule out a disc injury from the neck; I would do an exam from the neck to the finger tips, looking for loss of motor or sensory. Then look at an X-ray if you have one. Do you have pain at the elbow joint? It might be as simple as needing your elbow and neck adjusted and a better sleep position. Find a Chiropractor in your local area if the pain continues. Better to take care of it now before it becomes a bigger problem. READ MORE
