Dr. Amy Gentner knew from the young age of 13 that she wanted to be a dentist. Writing a paper on what a dentist does, influenced every educational decision there after. Throughout high school and college Dr. Gentner worked as a dental assistant, continually gaining a strong interest in the field. After attaining her bachelor's degree, she enrolled at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. While there she received the Delta Dental Scholarship, Hubert Phillips Scholarship, James Rachor, DDS Scholarship. Gentner was awarded the Academy of General Dentists Award, upon graduating, by the faculty and staff of her school. Since becoming a dentist, her career has soared. She has a private practice in St. Johns, Michigan, and actively participates in bettering her community. She, and her team, donate to Donated Dental Services; giving dental supplies to many local charities.
