Robert S. Emerick, MD, FACC, FSCAI, received his medical training in New York at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons followed by an internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, and fellowships at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Saint Mary’s Medical Center and University of California, San Francisco. Before returning to the west coast, Dr. Emerick practiced in states across the country. From 1999 to 2002 he worked at Cardiovascular Physicians of Memphis, and became certified in states including California, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. After leaving the Memphis practice he took a position at Cardiac Study Center, Inc. in Tacoma, Washington. With his broad experience, Emerick was able to become the Founder and President Choice Cardiovascular, PLLC in Gig Harbor, Washington, where he remains practicing today.
