Soontorn Thrupkaew, MD, works at the Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation.  The Foundation is made up of 40 separate health centers spread around Illinois, with an emphasis on serving low income families.  Dr. Thrupkaew serves the Bethalto Center in East Alton.  A native of Thailand, he was educated there before completed her post-MD work in Illinois.  An international public speaker, he is also President of the Thai Physician Association of America.  This Association does important work in Thailand, including medical missions supplying the Thai people with physicians and surgeries they desperately need.
