931 Howe Avenue Sacramento California, 95825About
Monica Crooks, DDS, considers her advanced dental technique her finest work of art. However, she is also an accomplished acrylic portrait painter and poet. Dr. Crooks was lucky enough to have her dental education completely financed by a scholarship from the United States Armed Forces, being one of only 2 US students to receive the honor. After studying phlebotomy, she earned her DDS and spent 5 years in the Air Force as a dental officer, before opening her private practice in 1990. She has another practice in the works, a dental spa in Sacramento, to open in April of 2012. The spa will focus on the enhancement and whitening of lips and teeth, often using Lumineers. Continuing education is very important to Dr. Crooks: She is certified in the Diode Soft Tissue Laser, Short Term Orthodontics, Lumineers, and even Botox and other fillers. She also educates her patients to make sure they reach their maximum health potential.
