Alam Sher Khan, MD, Emeritus, FRCP(C), is a retired clinical cardiologist who practiced in the Calgary, Alberta area in Canada. Educated in Pakistan, he relocated to Canada upon completion to to serve Foothills Medical Centre, Holy Cross Hospital, Calgary General Hospital, and the Associate Clinic Calgary. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology, Dr. Khan has been published over the course of his career and has participated in public lecutres around the globe. He also was an educator at Foothills Medical Centre; for Dr. Khans achievements and successes there he received the Best Teacher of the Year Award in 1976. Dr. Khan was a doctor of distinction being a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
