Mihai V. Diamandi, MD, grew up in a family of physicians, being surrounded by people of the medical world as a young child inspired his to also pursue a career in medicine as an adult. He accomplished that dream after obtaining his medical degree in 1991 from University of Medicine and Pharmacy C. Davila in Bucharest, Romania; the oldest medical college in the country. He eventually moved to the United States to complete his internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center, in Brooklyn, New York. He worked as a Hopitalist for eight years at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, PA. Today he is practicing at Riddle Memorial Hospital, member of the Hospitalist Medical Services. His motto at work is "Try to put yourself, the physician, in the patient shoes at all times!"
