As co-founder and medical director, Dr. Guertin also has additional experience in reconstructive surgery, which he studied under a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering. This type of surgery is usually more for medical reasons than purely aesthetic ones. In addition to his plastic surgical technique, Dr. Guertin has a separate degree in microsurgery from Cornell University. Microsurgery is a very fine technique, usually done with microscope because of the size of the object that is receiving the operation, ex. a very small vein.

Is eyelid plastic surgery permanent?
Yes, the results will last many years. However, the aging process will resume after the surgery, and it's normal to expect normal aging as time progresses.
