Francis Jean Bourgeois, MD, FACP, FACS, FACOG, is owner of the Warrenton Urgent Care Center in Warrenton, Virginia. The Center provides urgent care for walk-in patients on a 7 day basis, the only center in the region to be open every day. Dr. Bourgeois is also the author of Obstetrics and Gynecology Recall, part of the Recall series, now in its second textbook edition. He was a consultant and teacher at Project Hope, a philanthropic organization devoted to promoting healthcare across the globe. For over 3 years, he has taught with them, and has been a professor for over 20 years at the University of Virginia. During his time at UV, he received Professor of the Year Robley Dunglinson Award, named after one of the first UV faculty members. He was also an active duty service member in the United States Military and was awarded for his efforts in 1980.
