She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Wellesley College and her Medical Degree from Drew-UCLA School of Medicine. After completing her internship at a Johns Hopkins-affiliated hospital and her residency in ophthalmology at Yale University, where she served as Chief Resident, Dr. Bovelle further honed her skills through a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the Louisiana State University Eye Center under the mentorship of renowned surgeon Dr. Herbert Kaufman. Additionally, in 2019, she received a Master’s in Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management from The George Washington University and focused on policies and practices that protect critical information with particular attention to the healthcare field.

Dr. Bovelle’s commitment to ongoing education is evident in her active pursuit of additional training in oculo-plastics and aesthetics, ensuring that she remains at the forefront of ophthalmic care. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Ocular Nutrition Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
