Dentist
439 North McLean Boulevard Suite 204 Wichita Kansas, 67203About
I enjoy spending time with my wife and my five adult children, and our grandchildren. My wife and I spend a lot of our time with young couples and young families, and international students, and other internationals as mentors and friends. We love the out doors, and we love to travel, but we love to travel with a purpose, and our mission trips are an example of that.
I have written a novel, Vale of Shadows, which is a suspense thriller with a supernatural twist set in Turkey and Albania based on the superstitions, myths, legends, and religions of the people that I have spent time with in those countries. i have spent hours sitting on the floor of homes in villages learning their culture and beliefs. Vale of Shadows won the Pinnacle Book Achievement Award in 2010. I am currently writing the sequel. For more information see www.robdakin.com.
I also have a website, robdakintravelwithapurpose.com, which are stories taken from my mission journals over the years.
I am active in my church, and even though I have many faults and failures, I try to live my life in service to God as a follower of Jesus Christ.
