With vast academic experience, real-world training, and a professional portfolio at some of the world’s most prestigious medical institutions, he is recognized as one of the premiere experts in the field with a reputation for being a meticulous interventional pain medicine physician with in-depth understanding of the brain, nerves and pain, which he combines with his passion for disorders of the nervous system and methods for pain management.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, Dr. Alexandre studied neural science at New York University, where he was a research fellow in the Howard Hughes Research program. He then earned both his medical degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD), as well as a Master of Science degree (MS) in Neuroscience from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Subsequently, he completed his neurology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and his fellowship training in pain medicine at the Harvard University Medical School Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, with additional training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston’s Children’s Hospital.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is board-certified in interventional pain management, interventional headache, and neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
