I am Board Certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. I received my undergraduate degree from Stanford University and earned a dual degree, medical degree and masters in public health at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School. I completed my internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship training at the same institution.
Currently, I am a owner/partner at Metro Renal Associates based out of Washington, DC. I care for patients who perform in-center and home dialysis. Additionally, I am an expert and treat renal transplant patients, patients inflicted with chronic kidney disease, difficult to control hypertension, as well as patients who suffer from renal stones, lupus and renal failure.
For my clinical skills I have been awarded numerous awards. In 2019 and 2020, I have been recogonized by Castle Conolly as one the "Top Nephrologists" nationally. In the the years of 2009- 2013, I have been recognized as one of “America’s Top Physicians” in Nephrology by the Consumer Research Council of America. For the year 2012, Dr. Griffiths has been selected as one of “Leading Physicians of the World” in the field of nephrology.
I am medical director of two dialysis centers in Wshington, DC. Both centers have received high marks by Medicare for patient safety and quality.
