Peter Louie, DMD, works at The Laser Dental Group in both Union and Westfield, New Jersey.  The practice uses a variety of different laser types to perform cosmetic and general dentistry techniques.  Dr. Louie is certified and proficient in three types of lasers:  the Er-Cr-Yssg, Diode and Nd-Yag Lasers. As a practice, laser dentistry is less painful and less invasive than regular dental treatment. Dr. Louie also makes crowns using E4D technology, a process which allows for same day restorations, eliminates temporaries and minimizes the number of impressions a patient has to have.  When Dr. Louie is not at the Laser Dental Group, he can be found at nearby Overlook Hospital's dental staff, a position he has held since 1980.
