Bill Harris, MD, FACC, works at Pikeville Heart Institute in Pikeville, Kentucky. The Institute is teamed up with Cleveland Clinic Heart Surgery, and is the only hospital in the nation to repeatedly receive a PMC National Hospital of the Year Award, from 2009 to 2011. They are also a Level IV Chest Pain Center, voted by CPI, by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Dr. Harris specializes in interventional cardiology, using medical imaging techniques to properly assess the degree of cardiovascular disease a patient has. Dr. Harris also serves as an educator for the University of Kentucky and the Pikeville School of Osteopathic Medicine.
