Ranjit K. Cheriyan, MD, FACP, works for Virginia Nephrology Group in Fairfax, Virginia.  He is also an assistant professor of internal medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Dr. Cheriyan also serves on the board of Innovative Dialysis and served as a Director of DaVita Dialysis, the nation's largest supplier of nephrology equipment.  He serves the Indian medical community as a Former Governor of the Eastern Region of Karola medical graduates. Coming from a medical background, Dr. Cheriyan was also honored for his educational prowess with a Top community teaching award from the American College of Physicians.
