Joseph John Darlak II, MD, Colonel Aus (Ret.) is a retired army physician based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a pioneer in the field of interventional cardiology, which involves using radiologic images to non-surgically assess diseases of the heart. He is board certified and fellowship trained in interventional radiology, obtained at the Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center. Though retired, he served in the medical field since his graduation in 1956 from SUNY Buffalo, and is sought out all over the world as an army doctor to lecture on various types of radiology.
