In Orlando, Florida, he is the Medical Director of Clinical Research at AdventHealth Research Institute & a nationally recognized cancer expert with AdventHealth Cancer Institute. As such, he is committed to providing his patients with the most advanced diagnosis and treatments using the latest technology available.

Educated in Puerto Rico, Dr. Alemany graduated with his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in 1998. He then went on to complete a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, staying there to pursue a fellowship as well. 

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Actively participating in several prestigious medical organizations, Dr. Alemany is an active member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Pan American Medical Association.
