Dr. Monder is a board-certified and fellowship-trained endocrinologist diagnosing and treating hormone problems and the complications that arise from them. With a vision and a goal to become a leader in the Valley of the Sun, he established Arizona Endocrinology Center in June of 1990.

After finishing his training at Punjab University – Chandigarh and Patliputra Medical College at Dhanbad, India in 1980, Dr. Monder relocated to the United States to further his training. He completed his residency at Prince George General Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland and Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center in Pennsylvania. From there, he went on to complete his fellowship in endocrinology (specializing in metabolic bone disease) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
The doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine, which is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Research and consulting work for pharmaceutical companies has been a way for Dr. Monder to be an innovator. He has lectured extensively in the community, aided fellow physicians, and became an Associate Professor at Midwestern University.
