Benjamin Petre, MD, maintains his own practice of Orthopedic and Sports Medicine in Annapolis, Maryland. With nearly a decade of experience, Dr. Petre has made a name for himself in the field of Orthopedics. He is team physician to the US Olympic Snowboarding Team, the US Olympic Ski Team, and has been a part of the medical teams for the Baltimore Orioles, Johns Hopkins Lacrosse, Navy Football, and local high schools. Dr. Petre has also taken care of all levels of athletes including patients from the NHL, MLB, NBA, and NFL. As one of the area’s best trained sports medicine surgeons, Dr. Petre has had more than 15 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, was selected by the OTA as the teaching resident of the year, and has published a textbook on orthopedic injuries, emergencies, and treatments.
